Welcome to doingyoubetter. This document outlines the terms and conditions for participating in coaching services offered by us. Understanding the nature of this service, expectations, and policies is crucial for our professional relationship. Please read this agreement carefully before engaging in services.

Understanding Coaching Services
Coaching Services: Coaching focuses on personal growth, goal achievement, and lifestyle enhancement. It helps clients explore specific concerns and opportunities, assisting them in following through on commitments and developing self-discipline and decision-making skills. These sessions are not suitable for psychological trauma work, in-depth therapeutic psychiatric exploration, or complex psychological or psychiatric concerns.

Confidentiality:
Client information and session content are strictly confidential, except where confidentiality would violate the law (e.g., imminent harm to self or others, abuse/neglect reports).

Sessions:

Sessions are scheduled based on mutual agreement to support the client’s goals. A minimum of 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid being charged for the session.

Clients are expected to initiate the session within a 10-minute grace period.

Session Length and Additional Charges:

Standard sessions are 45 minutes. Depending on the client’s needs, sessions may occasionally extend up to 60 minutes at no extra cost. If a session exceeds 60 minutes, additional fees will apply, billed in 15-minute increments:

This policy helps manage client expectations and respect the Life-Coach’s time and professional boundaries.
Terms of Service:
Services will be provided online as determined most effectively by the client’s goals and convenience, either by Doxy or Zoom video or by phone.

Payment Methods:

Doingyoubetter accepts payments through credit or debit cards only.

Note on Processing Fees: In the event of a refund, payments made via credit card are subject to a processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Termination of Services:
Clients may terminate services at any time. Ideally, termination discussions will occur in advance to ensure a proper conclusion of the coaching process.
No-Shows:
Participants who do not show up without prior notification are not eligible for refunds or credits.
Emergency Contact Information:
Our services are not intended for immediate crisis intervention. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.
Agreement to Terms:
By engaging in coaching services, clients acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
